Hello! My name is Amber Lynn Brown. I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in SE Michigan in a small town called Metamora. As an only child, I grew up having 3 horses and participated on many competitive levels for several years throughout my early childhood in riding. If I wasn't in a horse pasture, I was always out and about hunting, fishing and trapping with my father ever since I could remember. This love for the outdoors transpired into my teen years into a passion for shooting. My parents got me onto an SCTP team but quickly realized it wasn't for me. One day we went sporting clays shooting at a local club, Grand Blanc, and my dad convinced me to try sporting clays after I had resisted listening to his opinion. I was totally convinced I wanted to shoot skeet at a high level, but he was the one who helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel with a bright future in sporting clays before I even knew it was possible. Basically, after that day the rest has become history. Sporting clays and the circuit has now become an everyday part of my life. I have also found my calling in coaching kids and adults in shooting. I am so thankful for the support system I have from my friends to my loving family and gracious sponsors. Without them, I couldn't do what i love.
This is my almost 4-year-old German Shepherd Thea. Her full name is Thea Von Stonehill. If you know me you will probably hear me talk about her a lot, ha-ha.
This is my 17 year old horse Joe. Its hard to believe but I've had him since he was just two years old. Together we have trail rode all over Metamora & even Fox Hunted several seasons together. He lives at my dad's farm in Metamora where I grew up.
